Looking for any information regarding Alexandra J. ANDERSON, who moved to Dublin Township in Mercer County, Ohio with his father Jordon in or about 1843. I believe Alexandra (male) was born in Maryland in 1830. He married Minerva J. GOODWIN of Mercer Cty in 1859. Minerva, my gg grandmother, died in 1923 and is buried in Sherer Cemetary north of Mendon OH. They apparently sold the last of their land in Mercer Cty to a Mary E. Petro in 1878. I can not find any trace of what happened to Alexandra after that date. Any clues would be appreciated!

Interested in exchanging information concerning the BAUSERMAN and GLASSMIRE families in Ohio. The Glassmire family settled in Ohio in the late 1700's. The earliest record I have is of an Abraham Glassmire, who was one of the original settlers of Dayton in 1795. He then moved to Shelby Co., and later to Paulding, probably passing away there. He had at least one son, also named Abraham, who lived in Crane Twp, and died of Typhoid fever. One of their daughter's, Sarah Jane Glassmire, married Abraham BAUSERMAN in 1869. Abraham was born in VanWert Co., and was the son of Eli and Mary BAUSERMAN. Eli is from Virginia, but I don't know his parentage. I have found a very large BAUSERMAN family in the Shenandoah Valley though. I would like to hear from anybody who can give any information on these two families.

I am searching for any information on John and Anna ROEDER (RAEDER) who were killed a the tornado that hit Van Wert in 1920. They were both born in their early 60s. They were the only two people in the county who were killed. According to their obits, they had an adopted son, Ernest RAEDER, who was stationed in Florida at the time. Ernest was married by 1920, but I do not have any marriage information. I would like to have any information concerning these three people. The last name has been spelled either way and has also been seen as RADER.

Looking for other researchers for George Washington HOLDEN who was born 1828 in Harrison County, VA (WV). He married Minerva McMILLEN in Putnam County, OH in 1850. They moved to Van Wert County, OH in 1853. George was Justice of the Peace in Van Wert County, OH in 1856. In 1866 they were living in Durbins Corner, Williams County, OH. In 1870 the family was listed in Williams County, Jefferson Twp. OH with Minerva and 7 children. I cannot find the family after the 1870 census, and would like to know where they went. The Family Bible tells us George died in 1896 but it does not say where he died. Would like to locate other Holden researchers.

Seek anyone researching the LEHMANN/LEHMANN mar Marie Madeliene BIAM & they immigrated to Canton, Stark Co., OH, then to Shelby Co., OH. Michel had at least one brother, Nicholas LEHMANN, who mar Marie Anne BIAM, sister of Madeleine. Nicholas & Marie or their descendants are found in Seneca & Huron Cos., OH. Also, a Joseph LEHMANN, a possible cousin, who mar Susanna HALTER, also was an immigrant. A sister, Mary Magdelena LEHMANN, mar Ignatz ZIRCHER and also immigrated.
